eLos deployment in Versailles, France
As part of the European GoGreenRoutes project, Smart City eLos offer from eLichens is now extending to the city of Versailles with the installation of several eLos stations, to study the outdoor air quality.
By installing them mainly around a green space, the city of Versailles, sensitive to environmental issues, wishes to study the air that its citizens breathe in the places most likely to welcome public, in particular children, more often subject to respiratory pathologies.
Pollution linked to road traffic is also analyzed in the surrounding access roads.

These air quality data allow cities to establish a roadmap, and the visualization on the map helps to accurately realize the areas most impacted by pollution.
The interest is great for cities wishing to set up projects targeting these critical areas. The analysis of the data allows in particular the implementation of future actions by the locality with the aim of improving the quality of the air in order to protect the health of all.
Citizens can then visualize the local air quality on the free access eLichens high resolution pollution map below (+300 cities) :
The data are also available on the OpenData platform of Versailles Grand Parc.
eLos stations are autonomous and run on solar energy, they provide the most accurate and complete real-time data on outdoor air quality by continuously measuring the concentrations of pollutants: CO2, NO2, O3, PM1 / PM2.5 / PM10; as well as meteorological factors such as temperature, humidity, noise and atmospheric pressure.
