While the fundamental role of building ventilation in the health and well-being of inhabitants is being increasingly recognized, many buildings are currently being poorly ventilated, which is a lack of fresh air renovation to dilute indoor pollutants. These contaminants include airborne viruses, such as SARS-CoV-2, flu, or polar pox, which are largely mitigated by adequate ventilation.
