OUR STORY
Created in December 2014, eLichens is the leader in the detection of environmental gases with the mission of responding to the associated climate issues. eLichens relies on a portfolio of patents and expertise that enable it to develop and market innovative and disruptive NDIR sensors and industrial IOT devices.
eLichens already supports several markets, including industrial safety, gas distribution applications, and outdoor methane leak detection for the residential and oil & gas sectors. These leaks threaten lives, contribute to global warming, and have an economic impact. eLichens is headquartered in Grenoble, France with offices in Paris, France and Texas, USA.
Why Lichens ?
Lichens derive their water and essential nutrients from the atmosphere which can lead to a rapid accumulation of pollutants. They are often used as bio-indicator of air quality.
We are taking Lichens as our namesake because we are a digital marker of air quality.
