+ How to install my Elos ? Is any tool provided ?
Your Elos should be installed in a solid bar. The receptors which are located below the Elos should be directly exposed to the air, and the solar panel to the sun or a source of light. Use the zip ties that are provided in the box containing your Elos.
+ Is my Elos waterproof ?
Yes, Elos is waterproof and is made to be used outside. Your Elos should be positioned in the way indicated in the user guide you have received.
+ Where can I position my Elos ?
You should install your Elos:
- on a Solid window railings or any other type of bar to attach the station
- Private balcony/terrace
Your Elos is solar-powered, so you should make sure that the solar panel is exposed to the light during the day.
+ Is Elos' battery charged when I receive my Elos ?
Your Elos is solar-powered. Therefore, it should be fully charged and operational after 1 day outside in its final position.
Make sure you have followed the different steps regarding the set-up of the station, which includes plugging the solar-panel to the battery.
Once your Elos is in full operational mode, a message will appear in your eLichens Lab. It should not take more than 2 days following the set-up and installation of your device.
+ Do I need a specific connectivity ?
The address you have indicated as the installation point of your Elos is covered by Sigfox Connectivity. You have nothing to do to connect your Elos to this network.
Besides, Wifi is not required to connect your Elos to the network.
+ What's the measurement frequency ?
eLos provides hourly reading of the measurement.
+ How to visualize the data ?
The measurements of your Elos are all stocked and visualizable on your account at www.lab.elichens.com
+ Can I use an app ?
Mobile App is not yet supported.
+ Will I get a notification in case of high level of pollution ?
This function is not yet supported.
